Although the CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors, # CM10950, and the Longview Custom Towing Mirrors, # LVT-1800, are very popular with our customers and scratching paint is not a common complaint, any time that you slide something across paint you do run the risk of a scratch. To considerably reduce the risk of scratches I recommend that you make sure that the towing mirror and factory mirror are clean and free of any debris. A good coat of wax on the painted surface of your mirrors will also help.

The K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors, # KS70131-32T, will fold up against the truck but this must be done manually. These mirrors do not offer the power folding option like the factory mirrors on your 2011 Toyota Tundra.

The CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors part # CM11550 which are a fit for a 2016 Ford F-150 don't have any magnification. I am not actually aware of any towing mirrors we offer with magnification, they are designed to simply extend your field of view so you can see your trailer better and what's beside it. There are some blind-spot stick-on mirrors which have magnification but that's it to the best of my knowledge. There are currently no slide-on or slip-on towing mirrors for a 2017 Nissan Titan, and while I suppose anything's possible, there's no reason to think any will be added for this truck a number of years later.
So if you need towing mirrors for yout Titan you'll have to go with clamp-on mirrors, and for that I highly recommend the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors # CM11980-2.

If the mirrors you have on your 2012 Silverado do not currently have turn signals, or heat functions, towing mirrors with those features will not be enabled. The wiring is not completed for those functions on the vehicle.
If you do not have those functions but want custom towing mirrors on your truck I recommend part # KS80900. These mirrors snap on to the lip of the vehicle mirrors. They will not work with mirrors that have a chrome cap and will not work with telescoping mirrors. view full answer...

The mirrors allow for power adjustment of the large mirror, have heat and turn signals which are all the powered functions. I went out to the warehouse to examine the CIPA Custom Towing Mirror, Driver Side, # CM11301, more closely. (The passenger side mirror is # CM11302.) The instructions do state that the towing mirror may mar the factory mirror finish. However, the wedge that holds the mirror in place comes with an adhesive backed felt liner to help protect the finish. The tightening knob on the back should be tight enough to secure the mirror but avoid over tightening as damage to the OEM mirror may occur.

While you can still fold the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors - Electric/Heat with LED Signal # KS62075-76G, it would have to be manually as they don't allow power folding.
There isn't a towing mirror with the power folding functionality, but the mirrors do have powered mirror adjustment, as well as heat and the LED turn signals. The Longview Towing Mirrors, part # CTM1600 are fully adjustable. Typically, the OE mirrors on a vehicle drivers side are flat and the passenger side is convex.

The K-Source # KS3990 universal towing mirrors are what I'd consider the best universal towing mirrors we offer, because of the ratcheting strap mechanism they use to attach to the factory mirror. This allows for a tight fit, which limits vibration from the mirrors attachment to the factory mirror. Movement from the factory mirror could be a different story.

We actually got a chance to test out several of our towing mirrors on a Chevy truck just the other day. The mirror we found to give the best visibility is the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors # KS3891-2. Install may take a bit of trial and error to get the correct fit, but they will be very secure once properly installed.
